IRDye 680RD Ideal for Labeling Proteins and in vivo Imaging

IRDye® 680RD Infrared Dyes

Products

IRDye 680RD infrared dye is the near-infrared fluorescent dye of choice for small animal imaging applications in the 700 nm wavelength and provides excellent clearance profiles in animals.

This infrared dye is ideal for labeling proteins, peptides, and antibodies. IRDye 680RD dye conjugates are optimized for protein detection applications, including quantitative Westerns and In-Cell Western assays. When used with IRDye 800CW dye-labeled agents, IRDye 680RD dye conjugates enable two-color imaging.

IRDye Infrared Dyes Overview

Other Forms Available

Click Chemistry utilizes pairs of reagents that exclusively react with each other and are effectively inert to naturally occurring functional groups such as amines. LI-COR offers IRDye 680RD DBCO, azide, and alkyne for click chemistry applications.

IRDye 680RD NHS ester is available in labeling kits so that you can label your own compounds for assay or probe development.

IRDye 680RD dye-conjugated forms are available from LI-COR, including:

IRDye 680RD Dyes and Conjugates Used in Various Applications

Image of IRDye tumor specific agent and IRDye 680RD BoneTag optical probe. The pseudocolor represents the 800 nm channel with red representing the highest level of signal. The white arrow points to the tumor while the orange arrow points to stomach signal. The grey scale image represents the IRDye 680RD BoneTag incorporated in skeletal features (700 nm image).
In-Cell Western Assay normalization with IRDye 680RD secondary antibody. A431 cells were treated with 2-fold serial dilutions of EGF (800-1.6 ng/mL). After fixation and permeabilization, cells were probed with rabbit anti-phospho EGFR and Mouse anti-ERK2 followed by detection with IRDye 800CW Goat anti-Rabbit IgG (P/N 926-32211) and IRDye 680RD Goat anti-Mouse IgG (P/N 926-68070). Column 1: background (no primary antibody); Columns 2-11: 2-fold dilution EGF treatment; Column 12: 100% standard (no EGF treatment).
Western blot detection of HER2 in dose-response, Radicicol-treated SK-BR-3 cell lysate samples (treatment range 0.063 – 2.0 μM). The blot was probed with mouse anti-HER2 and rabbit anti-actin (P/N 926-42210) followed by detection with IRDye 800CW Goat anti-Mouse IgG (P/N 926-32210) and IRDye 680RD Goat anti-Rabbit IgG (P/N 926-68071).
